How Do I Order Pictures?

Pictures can be ordered online from your dancer's private album after Picture Day as soon as the program's gallery is active.
Our goal is to release these albums approximately 10 days after the last program Picture Day or make-up date if this applies to anyone in your program.

Do I Need to Bring an Order Form on Picture Day?

There are NO paper order forms!
All images will be available in private online albums to view and order AFTER Picture Day.
You will receive an email from Higher Focus Photography as soon as these albums are active. To make sure these emails get through, please add vicky@higherfocusphotography.com to your approved emails. Note that Hotmail and Yahoo accounts sometimes restrict these automated emails. Please use an alternative address if possible!
The dance program will also notify families once the email from Higher Focus Photography is sent to make sure you don't miss it!

What Pictures do you take on Picture Day?

All dancers will have at least two photos taken on Picture Day.
We will photograph each dancer in a group pose (for use when we build the group photos), and at least one individual pose for each group they are in.
We'll have posing boards for inspiration reference and also invite dancers to plan ahead for any specific pose or poses they'd like to do in their individual photos.
Dancers in technical poses will have the opportunity to view and approve the image with their instructors when possible.

Can I Take a Sibling or Buddy Picture?

We LOVE these photos - so long as time allows in the schedule! Picture time is scheduled around rehearsals and also facility availability and may be limited.
If you would like a sibling or buddy photo - please make sure you request this during check-in on Picture Day so that we can do our best to accommodate your request.

What if I am Absent on my programs Picture Day?

At the program's discretion, a make-up opportunity may be offered in the studio after the designated Picture Day. However, this delays production for everyone.
Make-up opportunities may be limited to individual poses only and do not guarantee inclusion in the group images.

What Should I Wear?

Please check with your Instructor to confirm the details for your costume, hair, and make-up on Picture Day.
